All NSX / Phenix marble is rated ASTM Type III, High Density Limestone with a water absorption rate of less than 1%, compressive strengths >10,000psi.

The material is tested for “salt crystallization” and rated “Class A”. NSX limestone is not subject to deterioration and is suitable for any horizontal applications including coastal areas with frost.
